”My collage is much more abstract and less realistic than The Voyage of Life. I represented my future by showing a vast space and a path leading to a tree at the end.  The small figure represents me walking off the safe path into the fire and rocks which shows how I don’t necessarily take the safe path and that the obstacles are also interesting to me. The green lines show that my future, whatever it is, is obtainable and I am connected to it always in some way.”   - Quinn Roy, paper collage
